Social birding in Speewah

Cairns Birders will be holding a social birding event at a private property in Speewah. The area offers particularly good birding due to being at the Wet Tropics rainforest and drier woodland ecosystems. Note, this is not a BirdLife Northern Queensland event.

We meet at 121 Douglas Track at 7:30am on Sunday, 17 November for two or more hours birding with morning tea at 10:00am provided by Meg who is the manager of Buena Vista the company which owns the 100 acre property. To access the property drive through the gate which is the last property on Douglas Track. It will be open at 7:30am to drive about 200m to the parking area.
