Bowerbird Monitoring Walks

Overview:

Join Dominic, the project leader, for a morning walk to listen for Bowerbirds calling early in the morning along 6 km transect in the Wet Tropics to help us gather valuable data for a long-term monitoring project. The goal of the project is to track the variation in bowerbird populations over time, with a focus on how climate change may affect their range and locations.

Tooth-billed Bowerbird:

IUCN status has been elevated from Least Concern to Near Threatened due to the impacts of climate change.
