About the event

WET TROPICS BIRD WORKSHOP

For bird monitoring in Wooroonooran National Park

WET TROPICS BIRDS NEED YOUR HELP!

Evidence is mounting that Wet Tropics rainforest birds are disappearing because of climate change. There has been a substantial population decline in the last 10 years alone. You can help by joining our citizen science project that will look for and monitor threatened endemic birds in Wooroonooran National Park.

Come along to a BirdLife workshop and:

  • Learn about our iconic Wet Tropics birds
  • Hear how they are affected by climate change
  • Be introduced to Australia’s longest-running citizen science program
  • Find out how you can get involved
