Birdlife Northern Queensland (BLNQ)’s 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held in Yungaburra on the Atherton Tablelands at the Community Hall, which proved to be an excellent venue with great facilities.

We attended the BWA campout held on the long weekend of 3 – 6 October 2025. This was based at the South Johnstone Forestry Camp on K-tree Road, in the Misty Mountains section of Wooroonooran National Park.

The three-day Conference was held at the University of Western Australia’s School of Business Studies, and over 450 delegates attended from Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.
